The Rabac Open Air Festival programme, which lasts until 29 August, will offer locals and foreign visitors to Rabac and Labin a plethora of shows, concerts and live musical performances in the upcoming days.
Tonight, at the first Circus in the City programme of the year, circus entertainers, stilt walkers, acrobats and jugglers will be entertaining the numerous attendees. The highlight of the street entertainment will take place at 9 pm next to the lighthouse below the Valamar Sanfior Hotel, where the jolly gang will provide the audience with a glimpse of the new cabaret show inspired by the Olympics. Visitors can have fun at the merry circus every Tuesday until 13 August.
On Wednesday, music and dance fans can enjoy the romantic atmosphere that will spread along the Rabac Lungomare during the Street Music programme.
Following the entertainment in the streets, a romantic stroll and some great music, festival guests will hear a historical tale in which they will also be included. Istra Inspirit is an edutaining theatre programme that combines classical theatre, local historical tales and legends and interaction with the audience. The first show of this year’s programme is scheduled for Saturday, when the visitors will learn more about the life of the miners from Labin and find out who were the mischievous dwarves known as Maliki. Everyone who’s interested can enjoy this interactive mining adventure every Saturday at 9 pm in the gorgeous park below the Valamar Sanfior Hotel.
