This week, the stages in Rabac and Labin will host a plethora of concerts and great music. As part of the Rabac Open Air Festival of Life, the music of the Street Music programme, featuring a range of interesting musicians, will be heard on Wednesday at as many as five locations on the Rabac Lungomare, while the Labin Art Republic is getting ready for Franka Batelić’s show on Thursday, 1 August.
Lubo and Grga, a pop rock duo also known as the Aerials, will offer an ear-catching combination of acoustic guitar and piano on the Rabac Riva. The Italian musician Powlean will perform a number of renditions of classic and contemporary hits and his own original songs near the Pingo 2 pastry shop. The musical attraction Cile One Man Band, who many consider to be a walking musical show, will be performing by the Capitano restaurant. Side Effects, a band consisting of Mate Ružić, Mladen Franković and Saša Pavšić, will provide a romantic evening for guests below La Pentola. The Janitors, a well-known group from Rijeka, are slated to perform at the Movie Lounge Bar at 9 pm, treating the audience to a night of foreign rock and pop acoustic covers. The Street Music performances will last from 8 pm to 11 pm.
The Sundance Tribute Festival brings the long-awaited concert performance by the ABBA Tribute Band ABBAZZIA, who will be tasked with taking visitors back to the glory days of the Swedish pop sensation. The concert begins at 10 pm.
