Labin is historically significant for its coal mines and today it takes pride in its heritage and culture, which has grown and developed along with the town.Located on a hill in the town is Labin Old Town, the proud host of the 18th annual Labin Art Republic - a festival that brings together a range of artists and musicians, actors and performers, singers and entertainers.
